Special Procedure
In this video, you will understand the basic concept of Angioplasty
Angiography:
A medical imaging technique to visualize blood vessels and organs.
Used to diagnose conditions like coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and cerebral vascular diseases.
Balloon Angioplasty (PTCA):
A minimally invasive procedure to widen narrowed or blocked arteries.
It involves inserting a small balloon attached to a catheter into the artery and inflating it to compress plaque and widen the vessel.
Often combined with stenting, where a small mesh tube is placed to keep the artery open and prevent re-narrowing.
